Music Support Worker

Fixed term contract, initially until 19th March 2018.

Salary - pro rata of £15,765 GYCT point 12 (equivalent to £8.66 per hour)
Hours: 8 per week, Tuesday and Thursday mornings (term time only)

An opportunity has arisen to work with the ground-breaking and innovative Music and Arts team at Great Yarmouth Community Trust.

We are looking for a very special person to join us as a Music Support Worker to assist the music leaders in delivering family music sessions across Great Yarmouth and Gorleston Sure Start Children’s Centres.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in working with young children (0-5yrs) and their families in a musical environment, who is comfortable with singing and has playful approach to their practice. This could be an Early Years Practitioner looking to develop their music and arts practice, or someone from an arts background looking for opportunities to work with young children and families.

This will be a great, hands on learning experience for the right person.
