Arts in the Early Years

Adventures at the Priory is an inspired alliance between the Priory and Theatre of Adventure.

The partnership which became an Earlyarts pathfinder last year delivers the cutting edge work we do in developing creative learning. This includes:

• Delivering music sessions to children and families through the Bridge 2 Music programme
• Delivering special arts events
• Researching creative learning through the work we do in order to build evidence for the crucial role music, creativity and playfulness play in children's development.
• Delivering professional and creative development for Artists of all arts forms by inviting them to come and playfully learn alongside our children.
• Delivering unique professional and creative development for Early Years practitioners.
• Developing the identity of the Priory as a world class centre for creative pedagogy.
• Attracting funding for the commissioning of creative work for early years
• Building a regional network between local authority, strategic organisations, the arts and cultural sector and education.
