Keeping Children Safe at Home
We need YOUR help to stop accidents. Accidental injury is a major problem for pre-school children. Many children have accidents, many of which can be prevented. The Children's Centre is working with researchers from the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in a study to find out the best way Children's Centres can provide home safety information to families.
The Children's Centre would like 30 families with at least one child under 3 years old to take part in this study. If you take part, you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire and then again in a year's time. This will ask you about your home, what things you might do at home to prevent your child (ren) having accidents and any home safety information received from us here at the Children's Centre. Help will be available if you have any difficulty with filling in the questionnaires.
For each questionnaire you fill in and return you will be given a £5 voucher that you can spend in many high street stores.
If you would like to take part, please come into The Priory or contact a member of the Families Team on 01493 743064.
