Non Executive Chair

Great Yarmouth Community Trust is seeking to appoint a Non Executive, Independent Chair to the Board of its trading arm: Priory Trading Ltd.

We are looking for an individual with current commercial experience at a senior level in the private sector to help us drive forward our ambitious growth strategy.

Expanding Priory Trading Ltd is at the core of our plans to secure financial sustainability for the charity at the same time as delivering our social mission to empower residents in Great Yarmouth to fulfil their potential.

The post will be remunerated and we expect to require a commitment of 1 day a month for an initial appointment of 3 years.

Special Needs Families Support Worker

Salary £16,537 (GYCT pt 17)
35 hours per week initially a short fixed term contract

As a Special Needs Families Support Worker you will plan, carry through and support a developing range of programmes for children with special needs and support their parents and carers. The responsibilities of the post also include training to deliver a portage service one day a week, training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the key role Childrenns Centres play in enhancing their communities along with experience of working with children with special needs. A relevant qualification at NVQ level 3 or above along with experience of running groups and visiting families in their homes is essential.
