Priory Café

The Priory Café is located in one of the oldest parts of what was originally known as St Nicholas Priory. The Café has retained much of the character of the original building and has been tastefully refurbished using Heritage style colour schemes and furniture.

Open from 9.00am until 3.00pm weekdays, our Café offers a warm, inviting atmosphere in which to enjoy lunch or a snack with friends. It is also becoming a popular meeting place for local business associates.

Being only five minutes from the main shopping centre, we are ideally situated for a 'shopping coffee break'. Our menu offers an excellent choice of snacks and lunches, complimented by our daily, freshly cooked specials. Sandwiches, baguettes and all day breakfasts are available throughout the day.

Open Mon-Fri, 9.00am to 3.00pm.

Children are always welcome and we provide highchairs and a separate Children’s Menu.

The Buttery, which is adjacent to the Priory Café, hosts a number of weekly coffee mornings/afternoons.

   Wednesday - Age Concern, 9.30am-1.00pm

Come and enjoy a cup of coffee and talk to local Age Concern professionals. Advice, support and a great place to just meet and chat with old or new friends.

   Tuesday - Baby Cafe - 1.00-3.00pm

Relaxed, café style drop-in for expectant and breastfeeding mums. A place to meet and chat, with expert advice on hand if needed. Why not pop in when you are out and about shopping?

Baby Café is followed by a new Health Café!

Bumps & Beyond - 3.00-4.30pm

A chance to come along and talk about health in pregnancy with the Health Promotion Midwife.
